The forthcoming installment in the game series is the Black Ops Cold War, which will be dropping on November 23, and the fans are really excited about it. The developer studio Activision is giving its fans a chance to play the game ahead of its launch. Yes, that is absolutely true, players can play this game, before launch, as a part of its public beta. However, the only downfall to this is that you will have to purchase the pricier editions of the game to get the pre-release access to the beta version.

The surprise news is that around 10.000 players will be able to get the beta codes for the game absolutely free, without even having to purchase the game. The game key will be given this weekend as a part of the giveaway. The giveaway will be a part of the first Call of Duty League championship, which will go down on August 30 at 4 PM ET. All the viewers of the stream will qualify for the beta keys on the league’s official website. You simply have to login or sign up to the Activision account and like Call of Duty companion app or League site.

Make sure to select the platform for which you want the key, like PlayStation, Xbox, or PC. Apart from the beta keys, you can also win a lot of other goodies like skins, and other in-game items. It seems like Activision will be able to gather a huge crowd for their game and sell them in large numbers.

A few hours ago, the billionaire Elon Musk showcased their new development in brain-computers through a webcast to the whole world. Elon Musk’s neuroscience startup Neuralink on Friday unveiled a pig which was the part of the experiment. The animal had the coin-sized computer chip in his brain for nearly two months, with the goal to cure many human diseases using the same method. The brain chip that was implanted in the brain of the pig had thousands of electrodes to help cure neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, and spinal cord injuries and finally stepped towards fusing humankind with artificial intelligence.

The billionaire confirmed that the same method can be used to cure major neurological problems like memory loss, hearing problems, depression, and insomnia. It can also be a great advantage for people who have been paralyzed due to spinal injuries, where the nerves connected from the spine to the brain are not responding. The Neuralink sensor will be almost eight millimeters in size, which will be connected to the brain. The chip will have many smaller wires that are flexible threads that are thinner than hair and are planted in a certain area of the brain using a robot for accuracy. These wires are planted in the brain area responsible for motor and sensory functions and are completely removable.

Neuralikn assures that it will be tested on human brains by the end of the year. The chip can be used to treat even Parkinson’s disease by electronically stimulating nerves and the brain. The technology could be great in the field of medicine and could help cure a lot of neurological issues as well. Apart from that, a few humans have shown a response to the treatment by doing smaller activities like moving a mouse or small objects, etc. But the larger scale of the method still needs to be tested more.

Facebook has always been strict about fake and false engagement on their platforms, which is not only wrong but also provides wrong data to the company regarding their business. Facebook has recently sued a person who was selling fake Instagram likes and comments on their Instagram platform. Facebook said that the issue has been filed under “fake engagement service“, against the service called Nakrutka. It used a network of bots and automation software to distribute fake likes, comments, views, and followers on Instagram.

This is not the first time Facebook has filed such claims. In the past, the company has filed similar lawsuits against developers who misuse data or otherwise violate its terms of service. In the same year, the company sued a Spanish developer and a company in New Zealand in 2019 for selling fake likes on Instagram. Facebook claims that all the lawsuits are in accordance with the social network’s pledge and they will continue to take aggressive action against any such developer or company in the future as well. In a similar lawsuit, the company has also sued MobiBurn who used malicious software to collect Facebook data from users.

Facebook has made it clear that any third-party developer who is using Facebook or Instagram to collect users’ data for spamming or selling fake likes and comments will have to face very strict action. Users might see many ads where people claim to provide a number of subscribers and like using bots. Strict action will be taken against them and also people who are publicizing them.

Google’s Assistant is one of the best AI assistants there is, and the company is consistently working on new features to make it even better than before. In the same attempt, the company has added a bunch of new features, which will make Google Assistant focus on the important task as per the time. The AI assistant will now be able to prioritize the list of your task, depending on the time of day. The most important task will be kept on the top while others will be kept below.

You will be able to see all the changes in Google Assistant’s snapshot, where the task will keep changing the order based on the time of day. The AI will learn from your past routine and will try to change the priority of the task accordingly. It will represent your previous priority of the task and check on how you have previously interacted with the Assistant. You can also get information like news, to-dos, and weather. For example, if you use the smartphone to read the newspaper, Google Assistant will keep it on priority at the beginning of the day.

You will also get a recommendation from the assistant, regarding the suggested podcast, recipes, restaurants, etc. The Snapshot feature will show any events like birthday much before then it should be on and on the day of the event, you get the chance to call, text, or even sing a birthday song. Just saying “Show me my day” will show the complete snapshot of the day, making it easier for you to manage things.

iOS 14 might hit Facebook’s business severely, and they are not happy about it.

Apple’s iOS 14 has been regarded as one of the most secure and best updates yet for Apple device users. The new version of iOS is more focused on users’ privacy and how their data and device are used by the different applications so that the user can be aware as to how their information is used. While the users are very happy with the new features, Facebook doesn’t seem to be happy about it. The new iOS 14 seems to be a problem for the business plan of Facebook and how it was planning to expand its base.

Apple’s new feature will give users the choice to decide whether they can be tracked across apps using a unique identifier. The feature will provide a popup to the users, asking them to permit if they allow the app to track them. Since the decision remains in the hand of the user, the amount of data that Facebook collects is going to cut short by a lot. While the feature is meant to give users full control of the details an app can track, it will also affect the ad campaigns and effectiveness of ads for users. The same data was collected by the Social networking giant to make sure that relevant ads are placed for the user by tracking their location and other details.

However, if a customer rejects the app from tracking, Facebook will not be able to do that. Facebook has already confirmed the fear of revenue reducing to 50% due to this feature for them and many app developers for Apple. A lot of experts have been appreciating the step taken by Apple, while the tech experts are looking out for more ways to make sure that the relevance of ads could be maintained.

Fortnite’s new season will not be available to iOS users.

After Apple removed the Fortnite app from the App Store, due to the use of a third-party payment platform and trying to avoid the 30% commission that Apple charges, there have been a lot of ups and downs for Epic developers. Although the district court stopped Apple from removing the developer account of Epic Games and affecting the pass that uses the UnReal engine, they have still allowed Fortnite to be reinstated on the App Store.

Due to this, all Fortnite players on the iOS platform will not be able to play the new season of the game which was released on August 27. Since the iOS players were unable to get the game update, they were unable to proceed into the new season and get updates on new maps, weapons, and other features. Although, the same is not a problem for Android users as they can still download the game from Fortnite.com or Samsung Galaxy Store. Also, they will continue to receive the update for the game, making them able to participate in the new season.

Players on iOS devices may still be able to play the season 3, which was updated to season 4 yesterday, but any further progression of the gameplay or the character will not be possible. The company has also confirmed that iOS players will not get the release for the new Chapter 2 – Season 4 update (v14.00). Until the court decides otherwise, it seems that Fortnite will not be a part of the App Store unless they agree to pay the commission.

Xiaomi’s in-display camera technology to go on mass-production next year.

Xiaomi has been keeping themselves really busy this year. First, they gave the customer, all-new Redmi K30, and Mi 10 Ultra, and now the company is working on a new camera tech, which could be a part of their future camera phone lineup and other phones as well. The company unveiled its third generation of under-display camera technology, which they claim will start mass-producing next year. The company displayed the first prototype of an in-display camera over a year ago and has further improved it to make it commercially available to users.

The camera will replace the existing front camera on the phone, which is visible either as a dot or waterdrop notch. With the new technology, the camera will not be visible on the front screen. In fact, it will remain hidden beneath the front screen. It has a proprietary pixel arrangement that allows the screen to pass light through the gap area of subpixels. This lets each pixel on the display retain a complete RGB subpixel layout, without sacrificing pixel density. When the user turns on the front camera, it will be visible on the screen, but will automatically merge into the screen when disabled.

The company claims that after the mass production begins for the same, other types of screen design will not be required and it will provide edge-to-edge viewing. The company will also be updating the algorithm to improve on brightness, contrast, and other elements. Although the technology is still under testing, it will be ready by the next year.
