When it comes to internet speed, SpaceX is trying to break all the barriers using SpaceX’s Starlink internet. A while back, the company did set up SpaceX’s Starlink internet public beta where it provided internet services to some areas and certain users. Now after a while of using the internet, the results that are coming seem to be great for SpaceX’s Starlink internet. The satellite internet is giving users high download speeds of over 160megabit per second, which is much faster than 95% of US connection. The details were verified by the speed test provider Ookla.

It’s not just the metropolitan areas, but even in the rural areas of Montana, the speed recorded was 174 Mbps. As per the mail that SpaceX sent to its customers on October 26, the speed that they could have expected should have been between 50 and 150 Mbps. When checking the internet speed for most of the users did fall under the category with some areas receiving speed even more than that. It seems that Starlink will definitely change the game forever when it comes to internet speed.

The company is still expanding its range and area which will be connected using the satellites. The company has also made it clear that since it is still in the public beta stage, the users can see “brief periods of no connectivity at all“. Similar feedback was also received from West-Coast where the users noticed a ten to fifteen-second interruption every few minutes.

Qualcomm is all set to release its new Snapdragon 875 chipset by the end of the year, in the month of December 2020. Before the final release, the company is trying to test the chipset at various settings and specs to get the maximum performance from the same. Now as per the leaked details by Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station another benchmark results have been shared for the Snapdragon 875 chipset, which is said to be a prototype.

The benchmark shows the name of the chipset with the codename “Lahaina“, which is a place in Hawaii, where the company will be announcing and sharing details about the chipset in December. The benchmark shows the score as 899,401 points which are higher than the first AnTuTu score for the chipset, which was 847,868. Now since this is a prototype for the chipset, it might be possible that the final version of the chipset that will be used in the smartphones, might have slightly lower performance than this version. It has already been tipped that the new chipset will be used in Mi 11, which will be the first smartphone to feature it. Apart from that, the chipset will also feature in the new Samsung Galaxy S21 series which will be launched in January 2021.

One of the most interesting and unique features of the iPhone 12 series has been the array of the magnet on the rear of the iPhone, which is called MagSafe. The MagSafe features make the iPhone 12 series compatible with many different accessories like cases, chargers, and wallets. Apart from that Apple and other companies have been trying to make new and unique accessories using the same MagSafe technology. Since Apple is making the MagSafe accessories right now, many third-party companies are also looking for the same and are trying to make a new product.

Due to this Apple has recently released an Accessory Design Guideline that provides a lot of details to such third-party accessory makers on the details about the MagSafe technology and how the accessories could be designed according to that. For example, when we talk about the cases for the iPhone 12 series, they must have a thickness of 21m and must firmly attach themselves to the phone without depending on the magnets. When it comes to cases made by Apple, they do make a click sound when they are attached to the device, but the same is not the case with third-party iPhone cases.

The PDF document also tells the manufacturers about specific placement, dimension, and polarity instructions so that all ‌MagSafe‌ accessories can magnetically self align “within a 1.55mm radial maximum. The cases should not interfere with wireless charging leather wallets or any other functioning of the iPhone. Another requirement asks the vendors to use magnets with N45SH NdFeB with a 7 μm – 13 μm NiCuNi plating finish. Also,  ‌the iPhone 12‌ should take a minimum of 800 gf (gram force) to dislodge and a maximum of 1100 gf.
